WALMART has officially teamed up with a popular pizza chain to deliver food through its express system.

Papa Johns, which has suffered a recent wave of closures, has been announced for Walmart delivery.

This is a first for food orders fulfilled entirely from restaurant locations outside Walmart‘s stores.

Ordering Papa Johns will be built directly into Walmart‘s online experience.

A dedicated app tab will allow eligible customers to order a fresh pie.

Customers can customize their orders with items such as pizzas, wings, sandwiches, sides and desserts.

Shopping at Walmart will look different as slew of grocery products BANNED

To save time, Papa Johns orders can be bundled with Walmart groceries and household essentials.

Express Delivery was recently expanded to 38 cities in the US, promising 30-minute-or-less delivery to countless customers.

Greg Cathey, Senior VP, e-commerce fulfillment innovation at Walmart, said the addition would provide even more variety.

Cathey said: “Customers shop at Walmart because they can find what they want and need in one place.

“Adding Papa Johns brings even more variety and convenience to that experience, giving customers the option to order a favorite like pizza alongside the everyday items they already count on Walmart for.”

Earlier this year, Subway was made available to order through Express Delivery on the Walmart app and website.
