CHICK-FIL-A is opening a new restaurant in a unique location in a few weeks.
The chain has faced strong competition this year but has also announced several new developments.
Chick-fil-A‘s latest development will open at the Akron-Canton Airport in Green, Ohio.
The new restaurant will replace the CAK Café, which is past the security checkpoint.
Construction is underway at the new Chick-fil-A, opening sometime in early November.
Lisa Dalpiaz, Vice President of Air Service and Business Development, said the airport was “proud” to deliver a new dining experience to flyers.

She commented: “Our two brands have a shared commitment to delivering a delightful experience for our guests, and we’re proud to bring such a well-loved dining option to CAK.”Â
Spencer Shaw, Executive VP of United Concessions Group, added that Chick-fil-A was an important opening for the airport.
He said: “As passenger traffic continues to grow, we’re excited to invest alongside the airport to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
“Chick-fil-A is an important milestone, but it’s only a piece of our long-term commitment to bringing new dining, retail, and convenience options that will continue to elevate the airport experience for travelers and the community alike.”

The Akron-Canton Airport is also renovating the Great Lakes Brewery location and making menu changes at other spots.
Café Express, The Observation Deck and Akron Coffee Roasters will all see updated menus at some point.
