A POPULAR Costco product has been discontinued, and many stores are running out of stock.
The product was in Costco stores around the US for two years and loved by many customers.
Costco announced that it had ended its partnership with Deschutes Brewery in July and will no longer be selling the Kirkland signature Helles-Style Lager and the Kirkland Signature Vintage Ale.
The Oregon-based brewery first partnered with Costco to produce the beers exclusive to the store in 2024.
A spokesperson for the Deschutes Brewery confirmed the end of its partnership to Business Insider.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for the beer from Costco members since the announcement,” the spokesperson said.

“The feedback on the beer has been exceptional, and it’s clear that the beer has built a fan base across the US and internationally.”
Many Costco stores across the country have already run out of the two beer products.
The Kirkland signature Helles-Style Lager was sold in 12 packs for $13.99.
“This Munich-style Helles Lager was brewed by Deschutes Brewery and features the highest quality domestic and imported hops and malt, including malts from Weyermann Specialty Malts in Bamberg, Germany,” the product description states.

The Helles-Style Lager also received a silver medal for the World Beer Cup in 2025, and a bronze medal in 2026.
Shoppers have loved the beer since the partnership began in 2024.
“The cost-to-value is insane on this beer,” one shopper said, according to the Wall Street Journal.
